After two albums with Barclay (Gargilesse and Rio Baril), Florent Marchet is working on his next album to be released in 2010. Meanwhile, he proposes a show in solo for the places that cannot welcome him when he’s touring with his band. An artistic statement, a will, a stage project to meet all kind of public.

Florent is a jack of all trades. He collaborates with DJ Zebra, he directs Clarika’s next album, he is co-creator of the musical novel “Frère Animal” with the writer Arnaud Kathrine… A rare artist !`

In 2004, Florent Marchet released with Barclay his first album “Gargilesse”. He’s going on tour, bringing his good words in about sixty city, also in the Zebre and the Maroquinerie in Paris.

During the numerous hours spent on the road, Florent doesn’t muck around. At the contrary he build on this time to begin to compose his second album. He collaborates with Dominique A or with the “Martian performer” Philippe Katherine. Fond of literature, he integrates several parts of musical reading in his concerts, paying tribute to Laura Kasischke, Régis Jauffret, Nancy Houston or also Rodrigo Garcia. In 2007, he comes back with this new opus, “Rio Baril”, and goes back on tour around the French towns.

Back on the roads in 2009, with an acoustic set in solo, Florent Marchet is delivering a preview of his new songs from his next album to be released in 2010. It will be occasion of a new show in trio to be discovered next year.
